I'm currently working on a vector of a rather fuzzy scan I found of the Ouran kids, and hopefully I'll get that done sometime this century. I want to make a wallpaper with it, because there are just so few wallpapers out there that are 1920x1200. This new monitor I have is fantastic (so is the computer that came with it.) but really, :( the resolution is ridiculous.

I\'m currently an undergrad student at University of Alabama at Birmingham. I\'m majoring in Art Studio, with a concentration in Drawing, and minoring in Japanese. (Soon, at least! ohohoho.) I currently hold two associates degrees, one in Computer Animation, and another in Graphic Design. Once I\'m out of college I would like to teach highschool art, and do a little freelance design work in my offtime.
My interests, other than the obvious interest in art, range from anime and video games, to learning more about Buddhism and spending time with my friends. I write fiction, both of the fan and original variety, and spend a great deal of time in the roleplaying community as well.
I\'m a friendly person, and enjoy making new friends; and expanding my own concepts and ideas by listening to others share their own.

I really appreciate all the tibdits of advice you gave. I'll try working on them too.
The issue with the filters is that the original idea was to mae the boxed parts of the image look as if they were been retransmitted, as if the boxes were tvs and the signal was very bad but I had no idea how to do it so I settled in with those filters. I'm really just starting to feel a bit more at ease with Photoshop but I have still lots to learn. I'll redo the extraction, since I reccon some parts look like chewed *shame on me* .
Appart from the wall's comments regarding how to improve it, I want to thank you the most because you really supported the idea I had for the wall even If I couldn't bring it out as I wanted. I was a bit depressed because my previous tryouts were so bad and my hopes were really high with this wall. You've given me courage to try and improve it and keep working on my idea!!
